As a Lumix owner, I would have to recommend considering also picking up the Wasabi Power Battery and Charger Kit for Panasonic Lumix. The camera, as it comes, only charges via USB cord. In my opinion a standalone charger and extra batteries are key. The Wasabi Power battery and charger kit includes TWO Panasonic Lumix firmware compatible batteries and one charger with a European plug AND a car adapter. Canon PowerShot SX200IS vs Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 and the Canon PowerShot SX200 IS are two of the hottest compact cameras from like two years ago. They both were referred to as "super-zooms".
